Husband loves these pants ! Says they are so comfortable-and very warm ! We are in the middle of two winter storm cells - and he is staying toasty in these pants . I ordered myself a pair just now !!

A great pair of nylon pants for hiking and backpacking! I am 5'11" and bought size XL. Width is just right (fit body), but the length might be an inch too long, which isn't a big deal. I haven't tried them out in the field, but I suspect they will perform well. The 2 front and 2 back pockets zip which is very convenient when hiking. I am very satisfied so far, and I will make sure to update this review if I encounter any issues in the field.

My husband LOVED these pants for our trip to Italy. They are made of a nice and lightweight/cool fabric. Also washed well in sink and dried quickly overnight. He normally wears a size 34/32 pant, but based on reviews I order up a size to large and that fit him best.

Outstanding pants!
I have been using these pants for a couple of monthes now.
I've tried a few pants that (TNF horizon convertible and Columbia Traveler's pants) suppose to fit just as these are but couldn't find a pair that I'd love to wear for work, outdoor activities and daily routine that would be comfortable enough.
These pants fits and more.
They are very comfortable, fits just as described on the size chart.
The material of the pants is just spectacular and is very comfortable for long hours. I hiked with them a couple of times and they are just unnoticed (which is great for hiking pants), Also they are wicking perspiration well and the UPF sun protection keeps you from the suns rays. Although a bit pricey I believe you pay what you get and these are certainly very recommended!

I love this pants, they are light, easy to clean (I'm a messy eater), stretchy enough to be comfy, they have a nice cut to make my booty pop. I had one already, and bought a second one for a trip to China during the summer, and in 100 degree day almost continuously, I could tell the difference if I wore other shorts, this felt cooler, because the fabric although very strong is also very light, also great if you like to pack light and end up having to wash a pair in a hotel room sink, they dry very quickly. Also the elastic waistband lets me wear them without a belt which can become uncomfortable. The stitching and materials are of great quality, and I fells that it will take many years to break them, definitively worth every penny. I have them on right now!

I normally buy 32W/32L pants and in most cases they hang on my hips, not at my waist. I like it that way because it gives me a little more room around my hips even though the legs are about 1" too long. These pants, however seem to be a bit small. They actually sit at my waist. There is a little bit of elastic in the waistband, and for me this elastic is already somewhat stretched out- I feel maybe a 1/2" give when I pull on the waistband. Another thing is that recently I lost about 3 lbs, so let's hope that i'll keep it off, or else I may find these pants to be on the tight side. The legs are also narrow, but my thighs are not overly muscular so this will not be a problem. I prefer the slim look rather than bagginess in my pants anyway, and there is no restriction of leg movements. However, if you are on the other (plus) side of Medium you may find these pants a little too tightly fitting.
Overall the workmanship seems to be good, no missing or unraveling stitches, but I've only worn them for a few hours so far. I bought these pants for traveling and I think they will fit the bill very well. They are light-weight (much thinner than jeans) and will not take much room in a suitcase. The color should be good to hide some unavoidable dinginess accumulated in airplanes, airports, buses and taxis.
UPDATE: After wearing these pants around the house (mostly sitting and watching TV) for two days I realized that they actually felt a little too tight around the waist when sitting. While they might've been fine for just walking around, this made them a poor choice for long air travels (flights, layovers, etc). I ordered another pair, this time in a large, and these look as good but feel much better; i hardly notice that i'm wearing them. I think that if Seek Everest made an in between size it would be perfect for me. I gave the smaller pair to my son and they fit him perfectly.

These pants are really light weight and cool to wear in warm weather. The sizes run a little small. I normally wear a 34Wx32L but need to return that size for a large size. These pants are water resistant but not water proof. They dry quickly unless they are totally soaked. I have gotten completely soaked in them and they become very clingy and uncomfortable but in the sun they dried quickly.

These pants are extremely comfortable, almost like wearing pajama bottoms but with more substance to them. There is a little area of elastic around the waist-band that snugs them up perfectly on me in the waist. I normally wear a 31 inseam, but like so many other pants on the market, these were listed only in S, M, L, etc. so I went with the Medium. Perhaps they are a little short to be a true 31, but they fit fairly well on me for the inseam. I like that the pockets have a zipper so I don't have to worry about anything falling out. My two complains are that the material is a little thin and the belt buckle seems flimsy. The material is rip-stop nylon with spandex so it is going to strong enough for hiking, etc. but you can feel air passing through them, which some might like. These pants are perfect for Spring, Summer and most of Fall. They should keep you cool on a summer hike. However, I can tell by wearing them that they will be too cool for me during the winter, particularly if the wind is blowing and the temperature is below 45 degrees. However, they are excellent for summer weather. Very comfortable when the temperature is in the upper 80s. They are not wind-proof or water-proof. They are quick drying so you could wash them in a sink in the evening and they will be dry in the morning. They can be tightly folded to save space when packing your suitcase.

First, I'm not a hiker so my use for these pants is not wearing them on a PCT through hike. I hope to start hiking but so far I wear them while out doing photography / camping trips where I sleep in the back of my Ford Explorer. That said, I spent over a week in a pair last year at Yosemite and other California parks. I really like the pants. The belt is about useless and frustrating. It's hard to open (for me), twists around, and seems like a waste of resources. I now use a web belt. A bit heavier but easier to use.
I got these for the light weight and UV protection as well as protection from plants, ticks, and sunburn. (I also wear long sleeve shirts for the same reasons.) I do sit on the ground a bit while shooting pictures and these are great for that. They take up very little space or weight in my bag. I have all three colors and really like them. I haven't purchased any other comparable brands even though I've eyed some. I've got these when on sale and for the money I don't see how any other pair would be better, at least not until I'm scaling El Capitan!

Got these as I just started to go hiking again. Needed some lightweight pants for the hot days in the SC/NC mountains.
Ordered Medium.
PRO:
+ Fabric is very light and feels like a light wind jacket
+ you can/should spray the pants with water repellent just in case. They are not water proof, just resistant.
+ I usually wear 33x32 jeans and I got the medium. These pants are a good fit "tight wise" and perfect length (very comparable to my Levis jeans).
+ side pockets are good size to put a small map or wallet in.
+ They stretch a little so if you are eating that extra granola bar during your hike, the pants will adjust.
+ it comes with a belt (low quality belt)
+ If you hike in colder weather (for me that would be in the 50s and below - you should wear long johns!)
Cons
- the belt is not high quality quality - it has a very small plastic closure clip. Not sure if I will use it or just get another one with a metal clip
-- How I rate --
5 Stars: Works exactly as advertised, is a good value at the price point purchased, would buy again or recommend to a friend.
4 Stars: Works exactly as advertised, fit/finish are what you'd expect when purchasing this type of product, might have a minor flaw.
3 Stars: Generally works but it may not be a good value at the price point or might like to see changes / improvements.
2 Stars: Barely works but can be made useful if you try.
1 Star: Useless, does not perform its intended function whatsoever and is generally a waste of money, sending it back.
Overall: I am giving this a 4 star rating based on my criteria above. Good value - nice fabric for a hike in warm temperature. Good fit, but belt is low quality.

These pants are very lightweight, but durable. They wear so comfortably well. They material is light and stretchy. They are perfect for autumn and spring backpacking trips, and I believe they would be great the other months of the year also. I'll be wearing them even in the summer since they are so light and will give me mosquito protection in the summer without being too hot.
Update: I had originally ordered Medium because that is my pant size. I have to return those and get the Large. The medium pants seemed to fit well, but they were just a little snug which caused the crotch area to be too tight whenever I squatted. I would advise getting one size higher. These are still awesome pants, though.
Update 2:
I wore these on a four hour hike today and they were very comfortable. The pants were very flexible and breathed well.

When I am climbing I like to wear pants that allow me to move so I usually wear lycra blends, but then It gets me hot and sweaty no matter how "moisture wicking" the fabric is supposed to be. These pants did the trick for me. I would say go for it.

These fit and feel just like my North Face pants but are 1/3 the price. Won't be buying North Face again.

These pants are durable yet lightweight. I am a parkour trainer and it is hard to find pants that do not inhibit my flexibility and get in my way. These do the trick. Great pants.
Jake S.
The pants are made of a very silky lightweight material that is very comfortable. They are my new standard hiking pant because they wick away the sweat, do not stick to my legs, and do not restrict my movement at all. I got them in blue to see how they were, and I just ordered them in both the brown and gray. These are great pants and I would recommend them!
